       Julian never thought the words, “I love you,” could inspire so much hate.  While searching for his girlfriend and her lover, he unwittingly comes upon an ancient deck of cards that give him gruesome visions of a family being murdered.  Consumed with finding the killer and preventing the tragedy, he delves deeper and deeper into a world existing just beyond a thin veil of the magical and the mundane, where he finds the corners are darker, blood flows freer and light is only a place for shadows to hide. 

       His quest to save this family requires him inhabiting a world just beyond his senses, to the left of what’s right, where souls are loose attachments and ageless beings hold all the keys to the debts of fate.
